You know your stuff

I trust that you’re the expert and stay true to your text. My expertise is in the detail, so I won’t ‘fix’ or ‘improve’ the writing. I follow my strategic BEAM process to systematically remove accidental distractions that drag your readers away from the message.

Smooth process

1. Plan

First up, send me the details of the project you’re working on. We’ll confirm the scope of your project and the date to book it in. I don’t rush – it’s too risky. (The safe side is my fave side.) If your deadline’s really tight, there’s an out-of-hours fee.

2. Paperwork

I’ll welcome you on board with a contract and T&Cs to sign. Being organised is fun!

3. Payment

You’ll receive an invoice for the non-refundable booking fee. Once that’s paid, the project dates are secured just for you. I’m no two-timer.

  ►   Projects up to £500: 100% booking fee in advance

  ►   Projects over £500: 50% booking fee in advance then 50% on completion

4. Proofread

I work in both UK and US English, and methodically follow my BEAM process to deliver one juicy proof! If you’d like it to be proofread again after you’ve made your changes, let me know and we’ll discuss how best to approach a second review.

Your project is unique and so is your quote. I’ll send you a fixed-price project fee for each new brief.
